Welcome to Region 19. This NDCO region spans 4 local government areas and contains some of the most diverse cultural and socio-economic factors in a condensed geographical area.
My name is Emma Killick and I am the National Disability Coordination Officer for Region 19. I am hosted by BUSY At Work, an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network provider with strong social values and a commitment to improving the lives of all people in the community, through meaningful education and employment.
As an NDCO, I am available as a resource, to provide timely and useful information about transition, and linkages to disability education and employment services or supports in your local area. I can assist with coordinating training, events and developing and delivering targeted programs. I have a governing advisory committee, made up of experienced professionals and people with lived experiences of the barriers to education and employment for people with disability. I stay informed and connected through service provider networking and interagency groups across Region 19. I believe in being hands on, building strong relationships to create opportunities locally and do this by working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
