NDCO Region 21 – Eastern & Central Queensland (reflects Department of Education – Central Queensland and the northern part of the North Coast Areas) covers 279,952 square kilometres with an estimated population of 454, 524. The area covers the Central Queensland Region with Local Government Areas – Banana, Central Highlands, Gladstone, Isaac, Livingstone, Rockhampton, Woorabinda; Wide Bay- North Burnett Region with Local Government Areas of Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, North Burnett, Bundaberg, Callide, Maryborough; Central West Queensland Region with Local Government Areas – Shire of Barcoo, Shire of Diamantina, Shire of Boulia, Shire of Winton, Longreach Region, Blackall-Tambo Region, Barcaldine Region.
As an NDCO, Julie works strategically with Schools, Tertiary Education and Employment providers, Local, State and Federal government agencies and a wide range of disability services in the region. Julie works to improve the transition of people with disability from School into Tertiary Education & Training and subsequent Employment.
NDCO Region 21 is hosted by Community Solutions Group, a unique not for profit community organisation and registered NDIS provider delivering a diverse range of disability supports, community wellbeing programs, employment, apprenticeship and traineeship services to individuals and families throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Community Solutions Group is a subsidiary of Endeavour Foundation.
